Training and dual degree
We are shaping the future and driving the energy transition forward - for us, this also includes innovative junior staff who support us as part of our team in many areas of our company. The internationally operating PNE Group is one of the most experienced project developers in the field of renewable energy. This exciting industry also offers new challenges and exciting tasks for our trainees and dual students on a daily basis.
Training.
Studying with future prospects at PNE.
You will gain initial work experience and assume responsibility even while you are training in our company. This includes independently developing and realising your first small projects together with other trainees. A course of training usually lasts three years.
During your training, you will pass through various departments in our company. You will learn the basics of wind farm planning in the project development department, perform planning, coordination and controlling tasks in the controlling department in a step towards learning how to control a company, and find out how a wind farm is contracted during the realisation phase.
With the continuous training and qualification of young people, we fill training places and we assume social responsibility. In general, junior employees remain with the company after their training period.
Our apprenticeships.
- Office management assistants carry out organisational and commercial administrative tasks. For example, they handle correspondence, design presentations, procure office supplies, plan and monitor appointments, prepare meetings and organise business trips. They also look after clients, participate in order processing, write invoices and monitor incoming payments.
- During the training, all departments at WKN, such as the HR Department, Financial Accounting, Controlling and Project Development are passed through.

- IT specialists for system integration are responsible for planning and configuring IT systems. As in-house service providers, they set up, operate and manage these systems according to customer requirements. This also means that, in the event of any failures, they systematically isolate and eliminate the faults with the help of experts and diagnostic systems. They advise internal and external users on the selection and use of equipment and solve application and system problems.
- During the training period, different commercial departments will be passed through, but mostly the IT department.

Studies.
Dual study in the field of renewable energies.
We also offer a dual study programme in cooperation with the Nordakademie in Elmshorn in the fields of business administration and industrial engineering. Throughout the dual study programme, the contents of the study programme are closely integrated with those of the training company. Our dual students alternate between theoretical phases at the Nordakademie in Elmshorn and practical phases in Husum during their 3.5 years of studying. During the practical phases, you will regularly rotate through all relevant departments and get to know our range of services.
Course of Studies.
- The aim of the course of studies is to systematically prepare and successfully implement company decisions in all functional areas of a company on the basis of scientific methods. The functional areas naturally focus on the interfaces between business-administrative and technical tasks.
- Duration of studies: 7 semesters
- Practical training: 13 weeks/half year in the company
- Theoretical training: 10 weeks/half year at the university
- The tuition fees are paid by PNE
- In addition to a broad transfer of basic economic knowledge, this course of studies offers options for setting individual priorities and preparing students for tasks in the international field.
- Duration of studies: 7 semesters
- Practical training: 13 weeks/half year in the company
- Theoretical training: 10 weeks/half year at the university
