How does it work?
Electricity from wind
- Impetus: Wind exerts pressure on the rotor blades and makes the rotor turn
- Transmission: The power is transferred to the drive shaft via the hub
- Movement: The turbine is started via a gearbox
- Conversion: A generator converts the kinetic energy into electric energy
- Transformation: low voltage current is converted to middle or high voltage current, which is given into the electricity grid to the consumer
