Operation our own wind farms

As well as project planning for wind farms, PNE WIND AG is also active as a wind farm operator. The commissioning of the wind farm "Altenbruch II" (25.8 MW) in 2009 was of particular importance in this.

The attractive site in the Cuxhaven area offers a wide range of advantages: with average wind speeds of 8.0 m/s at a hub height of 105 m, we were able in practice to put offshore wind turbines to the test here. The nine wind turbines we installed, produced by Vestas and Siemens, with a total rated output of 25.8 MW, allowed us to achieve a high output for the wind farm.

Due to this diversification of our business activities within the field of wind power, we are in a strong position for the future. We are gaining additional experience in the operation of wind turbines on land and at sea and by operating wind farms ourselves, are able to achieve constant revenue from the sale of electricity.
