Planning and creating wind farm projects on land

From site investigation to the finished installation

At the start of every project comes the analysis and acquisition of a suitable wind farm site. We select the plant to be erected on the basis of local conditions and then take care of the necessary approval procedure.

Another important point is financing. On the basis of its many years of experience, PNE WIND AG has extensive know-how in this area. As well as the financial analysis, this phase also covers the legal structure of the subsequent operating company, the sale of the wind farm to investors and securing the actual project finance.

Once the approval is in hand, the wind farm is built – in certain cases, the sale of the rights to the project is also an option. First of all, a connection to the electricity grid and provision of the corresponding infrastructure are required. Then the wind turbines are set in place and put into operation.

The wind farm is then handed over to the operator, who is also not left alone following commissioning. Quite the contrary: in many cases we also take care of the technical and business operational management after completion – thereby ensuring that the turbines keep turning!
