Since 1995, our core business has consisted of the project planning of wind farms on land (onshore). We operate what is known as "Green field development": PNE WIND AG develops the wind farm from the first survey of the site to the commissioning of the finished wind turbines. We are also able to put the know-how we have developed on the German domestic market to good use internationally. In addition, we were one of the first to recognise wind power at sea (offshore) as a growth area and have resolutely made good use of the resulting market opportunities.

We do not leave our customers alone when the wind farm is complete and has been commissioned. Quite the contrary – we make sure that the wind farm is up and running. As well as our business services, we can also take care of the technical supervision of the wind farm.

In addition to this, we operate ourselves as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in selected cases. This allows us to stabilise our revenue basis and generate valuable knowledge for our project planning business. One example of this is the wind farm "Altenbruch II", which we put into operation in 2009 as an offshore reference field.
