Passion for Energy

Wind farm project planning with passion

  • 98 wind farm projects with a total rated output of around 814 MW already successfully completed
  • Internationalisation and offshore project planning are future growth areas

PNE WIND AG, which is based in Cuxhaven, plans and executes wind farm projects on land (onshore) and at sea (offshore). Our core skills lie in the development, project management, realisation and financing of wind farms and their management, or sale with subsequent service. To date, the company has created 98 wind farms with 568 wind turbines and a total rated output of around 814 MW.

Alongside our business activities on the established German domestic market, PNE WIND AG is increasingly expanding into dynamic growth markets. Through its subsidiaries and a number of joint ventures, it is already represented in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA. In these countries, work is currently underway on wind farm projects with a rated output of over 2000 MW, to be completed in the medium term. In Germany (onshore), wind farm projects with a rated output of around 1100 MW are currently in progress.

As well as this, PNE WIND AG is also developing offshore wind farm projects, of which four large sites in German waters have already been approved. Several projects are currently being developed in the offshore sector, whilst PNE WIND AG is active as a service provider for the purchasers of projects which have already been sold. Also in the offshore sector, we are examining the possibility of entering foreign markets with excellent prospects.
